Taylor and her parents found Italian Torpedo Onions at the Manteca Farmers Market on a Tuesday night a few weeks ago. None of us had ever seen them before so they must be unique and unusual....right? Team Mahaffie
Carrie found this boy with a cast in Bass Pro Shop in Manteca,CA while she was on a Hot Foot scavenger hunt with the youth group. It was a timed event and she took one for the team to stop and get this picture. She didn't get permission to put his picture on the blog so I gave him a happy face...he really was smiling at the time.
At work today I drove by our beloved porta potty and found this...Chris and I thought we should share. I guess some kids were successful at knocking it over. No worries though, it was upright by the end of the day.
Phil & I scored on this one!! Here is a 1960 Chevrolet Parkwood Wagon with lots of bumper stickers, complete with a Surf Board rack and Board! This was parked at the races. The kid in the smaller photo was the driver - it's the chase rig for his Dad's Nostalgia Nitro Funny Car.
The Parkwood was a way cool car! It was the "medium version" of the station wagon put out by Chevrolet - One notch below the Nomad -
