Does anyone remember Calabazas Creek? I cross this bridge everyday on my lunch break walk. It is on Prunridge Ave, close to Tantau Ave. I brought my camera a couple times, but didn't ever see any one to take my picture. Tuesday I talked a co-worker into taking a walk with me. Yeah, I got the picture.
TOTALLY remember... mostly riding my bike at the park on the big dips. Years ago Chris' went there to ride bikes with a friend and his older brother. They were quite impressed that I had done those bike hills on my bike as a kid!
ReplyDeletethen there was the other creek closer to the Corvette house... Rodeo I think, where we took the wagon to get rocks for the aquarium!
I remember!! Spent many a summer day there. I still have a scar on my elbow from wiping out on those bike hills when I was about 12. Brings back some memories!
