This clock is located right in the center of town, it's claim to fame is having been featured in a scene in Road House with Patrick Swayze. I tried to find a clip of it on YouTube but had no luck, I haven't seen the movie so I can't tell you for certain, but research on several movie sites says this is the one :)
We've never seen that movie either. Wonder if it was any good? Nice picture though of you.

ReplyDeleteIt isn't so bad it's good, it's so bad it's great. It is the very definition of a guy movie. It contains brutal and bloody fist fights, frequent nudity, a rock n' roll sound track, some of the best cheesy dialogue ever written, fancy cars, gun-play, knives being thrown, and explosions. As a movie for guys, it's a 10, as a movie to be taken seriously, it's a 5. Every attempt at drama flounders, though it never completely ruins what is going on.

DeleteYou've never seen Roadhouse!?!?! - Sam Elliot has one of the Pep's favorite saying's......."Don't Eat The Big White Mint".....referring to a sign over the Urinal. It's a fairly good movie. If you see it on cable, worth the watch.
