Location: Carlon Falls, Yosemite, Ca
We went on a new hike today, this trail starts outside of Yosemite and goes in about 2.5 miles to this waterfall and the swimming hole under it. We didnt go swimming as the water was absolutely freezing, and the fall looks bigger in real life.

ReplyDeleteI never have seen that waterfall. Yosemite is very cool. I would love to take Missy and Barb while they are here to see the "Valley". Nice picture of you guys.
ReplyDeleteIts on the way to Hetch Hetchy, found it on something like "Americas Best Hidden Swimming Holes", those deals they put on yahoo.com, so we figured we'd try it out. We were done and on to the next thing by noon, so if you have time it'd be a good one for Aunt Barb and Melissa :)

ReplyDeleteAunt Barb, I dont know how long it takes to get to Yosemite from Campbell...but this is definitely a doable one day trip, the hike only takes a couple hours round trip.
ReplyDeleteSo, Mike and Lauren did Yosemite in 1 day last summer. They got up about 4am. They saw most of the Valley. Got home mid evening. I think we should think about it.
