Whatchu Doin at the Courthouse?

Team Fresno

Reedley's got its own courthouse that serves the cities of Reedley, Orange Cove and Sanger. The cases heard here are mainly traffic cases, misdemeanor prelim cases, and felony prelim cases. If the case goes to jury, or is serious in nature (Murder, Sex Crimes) then they go up to Fresno to the big courthouse, which does not have any steps.

  3. No the Fresno courthouse is on a weird incline thing...it actually has a basement, and there are stairs inside, but it sits at street level. I was not bailing anyone out, as you would bail someone out at the jail, not the courthouse...they (the jailer/pd person) take the bail bond to the court later. There are no bail bondsmen in Reedley, if youre that desperate, you wait for someone to come from Fresno or you take a trip up there in the back of a cop car, then get bailed out from the county jail :)
